The combination of stamping and plating creates excellent opportunities to reduce part costs – especially if all of the options are considered at an early stage in the design process.
Parts can be stamped flat or partially formed, selectively plated or plated all over then finish formed, substantially reducing the amount of precious metal used.

Alternatively material can be pre-plated all over or selectively with stripes in any finish or combination of finishes prior to stamping.
Our seven reel to reel plating lines offer Gold, Silver, Nickel, Palladium Nickel, Nickel Phosphorous and pure Tin for the plating of stamped parts, which are usually layer wound on drums for internal processing to reduce costs.
Other plating facilities include rack and barrel plating for plating loose parts.
The plating department has a fully fitted laboratory which is equipped with X-Ray Fluorescent measuring equipment for measuring the deposit thicknesses and compositions.
